Captured by Michael Cooper of the Taunton Fly Fishing Club this excellent footage shows Brook lamprey (Lampetra planeri) gathering to spawn in the River Tone at Bishops Hull near Taunton. This behaviour is often recorded for the larger River lamprey (Lampetra fluviatilis) but not so frequently for their smaller relatives.
